Ram Setu is a film about the existence of the Ram Setu Bridge that connects India to Sri Lanka. Questions are raised about whether Ram Setu was built by man or by God (Bhagwan Ram). This movie tries to explain clearly the origin and existence of the Ram Setu (called Adam's Bridge) in English. Use of Religious proofs as well as ancient studies and with the use of archeology the film tries to understand the existence of Ram Setu. Akshay Kumar in the role of an archeologist has done a really good job. Nusrat Bharucha as Akshay Kumar's wife role very nice acting. Jacqueline Fernandes member of Akshay Kumars' study team good acting. Satyadev Kancharana small role but is fun. Nassar acting very nice. Also acting of Pravesh Rana is good. All the actors have given a decent performance. I really liked the acting of Nushratt Bharucha in this movie. Her entry and her character involvement in the story brought a new sense of family story to this religion and history-related film. I really loved the way how Akshay Kumar's character tried to fight till the end to prove the existence of Ram Setu that is made by God to the unbeliever. I also loved the fact that this film turned Akshay Kumar's character from an atheist to a believer.
I loved the casting of this film. All three main religions involved in the acting of the film - Akshay Kumar- Hindi, Nushratt Bharucha- Muslim, and Jacqueline Fernandes - Christian. I loved the storytelling of this movie also the visual presentation of this movie. Really a treat to our eyes. Ram Setu's movie music was also great. Ram Setu's movie songs were nice, not too great but really matched the situations in the film. What Funn song in this film really brought new energy to the film and also reminded me of the Chennai Express song ' Kashmir Main Tu Kanayakumari' VEry a nice movie overall. Perfect entertainer film. You will be hooked on this movie from start to end. Very interesting movie. I really recommend you to watch this movie. This movie in spite of having god name in it has matched religious as well as family stories and other different stories really well in this film. Also, a rich man builders story is shown in this film if he wanted to take control of Ram Setu's place and create some business place in that area. A nice story overall. I rate this film 5 stars out of 5. Really engaging movie. Boat scenes, thunder scenes, and all very nice, visual treats got a little feel of titanic also in the movie.
